GTCC Fall 2018

Anyone out there planning to apply for next fall? I'm just finished Developmental Psych and I'm registered for Bio 168, Chem 131, and CIS 110 in the fall. If I do well in these classes, I'm thinking I'll apply with approximately 42 points which I know is on the low side, but fingers crossed!

Who still needs to do the CNA class? I plan to register for the one that is posted 8/8.

No. Their applications were due Thursday so the committee ranked them today. I'm just saying she's got a lot on her plate.

Yes sorry for the typo.. I'm so excited!!! Does anyone know someone in the program now? I've been looking at the reviews and it says that the staff are very unorganized

I'm in classes on campus now and my SPARK leader for BIO169 is in the program. She has said it's hard but hasn't said it's unorganized.

Hi everyone. I was accepted into the fall program, as well. Congrats to everyone and can't wait to meet you guys. Does anyone have any idea of what clinical and lab hours will be like? Also, are we required to meet with an advisor outside of our orientation next month? I am so excited and anxious!! How is everyone feeling?

I've heard clinical days get shifted around kinda late in the game because of the clinical venues, which can be really hard for people who work while in school (like me, ugh), and that some of the instructors seem very "cold." But... all ADN/BSN programs are pretty rough per what I've heard.

Per WebAdvisor, at this time NUR111 has two sections. One meets Tuesday 8a-10:50a with labs the same time on Monday and Wednesday. The other section meets Tuesday 12p-2:50p with labs the same time Monday and WEdnesday. All Clinicals TBA.

I hope we get some say in which section we enroll in. I'm sure some folks would prefer an 8am class but I work second shift (4p-230a) so I'd MUCH prefer to do the later section and only be completely sleep deprived for clinicals! HAH!
