GTCC Fall 2018

Hi!! I'm planning to apply next fall but it wasn't exactly explained to me how you know how many points you have so I'm wondering how that whole thing works? What do you look for, for the CNA course? Is that something you pay for out of pocket?

New CNA classes wil be posted tomorrow. You must pay out of pocket for those.

Nursing Assistant – Con Ed

I was planning to apply for next fall, but I'm gonna go ahead and try for this fall, it doesn't hurt to try. I don't have any pre reqs yet only a&p. I have about 32 points. Does anyone know the lowest number they accept?

Hi there! I think I'll have 49 points for GTCC. I got a 90 on my TEAS (WHAT?!) so it really helped. I'm applying to DCCC too, with I think 14/16 but their system is vastly different.

That's a good amount of points. I haven't taken teas yet and I only have 32 I think, since I wasn't going to apply till next fall. I'm taking English 111 and psych 150 right now.

OK I did my MAR last week!! 48 points. Apparently we'll be notified mid-March.

I applied and now we wait Anxiously!!! Anticipation is killing me!

I emailed Angela Dalton and she said last fall the lowest they took was 35.

They said expect letters "mid-March" but who even knows what that means!

I also applied to Davidson CCC, they just send an email out on the 12th. I kind of like getting a letter better, but I also like having an actual date!

I'm applying for the fall as well. I have 43 points and I'm worried.

I went yesterday and found out they haven't even finalized anything, like when I did my ranking review the guy didn't really ask me about extra certificates and they said my BLS CPR certificate counted 1 point but he didn't ask about it so the lady is supposed to let me know if they will count it or not, that would bring me to 40 pots if they do...

I heard from Davidson CC, they make you accept your seat with a week so I went ahead and did! But now I'm going to have to renege if I get into GTCC, which I Don't like doing but they give you such a short period of time! I hope we hear from GTCC soon.
