I'm in classes on campus now and my SPARK leader for BIO169 is in the program. She has said it's hard but hasn't said it's unorganized.

No. Their applications were due Thursday so the committee ranked them today. I'm just saying she's got a lot on her plate.

I talked to Angela last week and she said she planned to call anyone who had been accepted but hadn't responded today. She said that then she would start down the list of alternates. However, I know the LPN program went to ranking today so unless she's got a clone, I don't see how she could possibly have time to do all this!

I talked to Angela yesterday and she said that this year there were 190 applicants, that's 40+ more than average. She said she expects to go 8-9 deep on the alternate list and confirmed as #5 I had 42 points. Super competitive year?

I'm pretty sure I had 39 points and I just got word that I'm alternate #5! I'm hoping that those who are accepted elsewhere and decide not to go to GTCC will let them know ASAP so us alternates won't have to wait long to know our fates!
