GTCC ADN Spring 2015

Published

I know it's early but I just couldn't wait any longer for a thread to be started. I took my TEAS test today and passed!!! I've met with the advisor to do my ranking...so I guess it's 3 months of anticipation and hoping I get it. With the new changes in the criteria for the program I can only imagine more people will apply making it more competitive for a seat in the program. Anybody else planning to apply for Spring?

I received an email this morning stating they had registered me for the class. Have you not received an email?

No. I was finally able to get in though and register myself. What else did the email say? For those that are self pay students could you be so kind as to post the items that are included in the package when get from the bookstore? Financial aid students can't pick up books until Jan 5 ;0(

This is the email that I received this morning:

Hello! You have been registered for Spring 2015 NUR 111 FJW 03.* Please pay or have financial aid in place, take proof of registration along with 2 forms of id (1 must be a state-issued photo id such as a driver’s license)* to Student Services in the Medlin Campus Center Building and have your GTCC ID made. There is no need to email or phone me to let me know you have had your id made. Student Services informs me of your compliance. I am looking forward to seeing you* in January! Thank you!

And I agree with you, I would really like to know what is in the package from the bookstore. I receive financial aid, so I won't be able to get mine till the 5th also. Hope this helps everyone!!

Thanks for posting. That was helpful of them. They may have pre-registered those that had a long wait before they could register. I'm going to campus tomorrow to turn in my paperwork and to get my ID. I hope it all goes smoothly LOL

No problem. Yes, I felt the same way when I read the email. I'm also going tomorrow to get my ID made. I hope everything goes well for you!

I went yesterday and got my ID badge, YEA. I am so glad to have my paperwork turned in and my ID badge. I just have one question, I dont want to sound dumb but do we register for the elective our selves? I want to make sure that I get everything done on time.

If you have other classes to take I would think you would register for them on your own. Go online and see if you can register.

I also got the email saying I was registered. And I got my student ID yesterday. The email said I was in section 3 but my paper from orientation says section 4. Does this differ for anyone that got the email?

I wonder why I didn't get an email? I registered myself under the course and section that was listed on the paper from orientation. Maybe they had to shuffle some students around to fill empty seats. I was able to get my student ID today and turn in my info. They only thing left is to get books but can't get them until 1/5 ;0( That won't give me much time to review them prior to the first day of classes.

I also got another section from what was listed on the paperwork from orientation. In regards to books, we are not actually getting books right? Just the access code? Just trying to get this all straight in my head. Thanks for everyone on this site. It really helps alot.
