GTCC ADN Spring 2015

I know it's early but I just couldn't wait any longer for a thread to be started. I took my TEAS test today and passed!!! I've met with the advisor to do my ranking...so I guess it's 3 months of anticipation and hoping I get it. With the new changes in the criteria for the program I can only imagine more people will apply making it more competitive for a seat in the program. Anybody else planning to apply for Spring?

Hi Everyone!!! I've also been accepted into the Spring 2015 program. I'm also having the same issues with registering for classes. When I called the school this morning I spoke with a lady that told me WebAdvisor would start letting students register on the 12th. However, that would be only certain students. I have no idea what that means, but I hope we can register soon; I still have to get my ID.

So I got a response to my email about not being able to register...I was told to register when I can. So...according to web advisor I can register Nov 14. So can we not get our student ID's until we are officially registered for a class?

I also received an Email telling me to register when I can and get an ID card when I can. I had to do an Online Orientation for GTCC since I'm a new student and they told me, "Spring registration for new students will begin November 24th". To me that seems too long to wait! I went last week to the Student Life Center to get an ID card and the lady in there told me I couldn't get an ID card until I have registered and paid for classes. So it looks like I'm stuck waiting for now? I have a question... I was going through my list of classes that I need to take for the ADN program; does anyone know what the highest math is that is required for the ADN program. I have already taken MAT 070, but I was told by a former student that they thought I would need MAT 080. Does anyone know??

I know you will need college Algebra but I'm not sure what the course code is. If you got access to web advisor you can log in and it will tell you what day you can register. I just hope it doesn't cause a delay. I know we need the student ID before we go to clinical.

When I log onto WebAdvisor and click on "My Online Registration Time" it's blank. But it could be because there's still a Orientation Hold on mine. Hopefully, they'll take that off tomorrow. Does anyone know who our Advisor will be? Would it be someone from the Nursing Dept. or not? I really need to meet with one but wasn't sure who I needed to contact.

Now that I don't know. I would email Mrs. S and ask her about who you can talk to counselor/advisor wise.

So webadvisor does not have a registration date at all for me. Is there something wrong? Or was it something else I was supposed to do?

Maybe it's because you are a new student. Have you called the school to check on it? The only down side is having to wait to register, pay, THEN you get your student ID. At least we know our class is safe and no one else can swipe it from under us ;0)

I called today and was given the runaround. Lady named Stephanie called back and said to read Lori Ann's email but all it says is register and pay for class.
