GSU Fall 2012

Not sure if there's one of these started already, but it's still pretty far off, so I thought I'd make one. Have any of you guys taken the TEAS yet? If not, where are you taking it? I didn't see any dates listed for GSU.

Hey guys, I have been following this since last semester when I applied for the ACE program. The information on here has been very helpful and informative. I was not accepted for Spring but thankfully I got in for Fall 2012! I received my letter last week Thursday. My program gpa was 3.9 and my teas was 86.

I can't wait to meet all of you. Let's enjoy our summer because we have a ton of work ahead of us!

Congrats forcay! No school in the summer for me! I agree, batteries need recharging based on what's ahead of us...

Thanks for the info mybebe.. :) That is definitely encouraging! :) Her stats are similar to mine: 4.0 GPA and 83.3 on the TEAS. What I'm most afraid of is that I did not do well on the science part of the TEAS.. I think it was about 70%.. :( but I'm hoping that they will look at my GPA and consider that I've completed all pre-requisites, but micro.. I also have good letters of recommendations.. oh well.. never know..

I'm sure it's only a matter of time til you get your letters! And congrats to everyone who has gotten in Can't WAIT to meet everyone! Is anyone else taking A&P II over the summer?

Well, I am, but we discussed it upthread I think. I'm a little nervous about taking a course like this during the shortened summer semester; this will be my first ever summer class (I used to work during the summers during my previous college stint). I keep hearing how intense A&P II is, even during fall or spring semesters.

Hey swall, how long did it take for the PINS to open up? I handed my acceptance form in on Friday to the girl at the front desk and I don't see it yet. I don't want to call and harass anyone because I am anxious. lol I would see it in Ulearn, right?

Thank you everyone for the congrats! For everyone who is still waiting, your letter will be there shortly! If they handle it anything like last semester, the next round of letters should go out at the end of the week.

Aaarrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggh, more waiting! I'm not so much nervous about this whole process, but I'm annoyed. I'm a planner, and I feel like I can't plan what's next until I know for sure whether I'm accepted or not. :/

I'm convinced the committees at these nursing schools (not picking on GSU) are masters in the art of psychological torture, LOL.

It showed up the next day for me. That being said, the office isn't open on the weekend, so I bet you'll see it today! :)
