Hi,

I graduated from the Grossmont College nursing program in 2001. I loved the program. I was also accepted into S.D. City as well as a couple of others and I needed to make the same decision that you are having to make. I ultimately decided on Grossmont and I am glad that I did.

I would recomend it. I felt very prepared and I passed the boards the first time. Good luck.

Just finished my 1st semester at Grossmont and I thought it went great. I didn't put myself on any other list though, I really enjoyed my experience at Grossmont and wanted to continue there. I also have heard great things from area nurses about Grossmont students, they like us!

I did my prereq's at Grossmont, and then went to SDCC for Nursing program. I couldn't tell you which is better, they both are great programs. I think it is a win/win decision. Good luck!

Yeah, get your name on both lists and go whoever takes you first. That's the most important thing.

You should consider the class hours, commuting, hospitals that the clinicals take plase as it relates to traffic, open lab hours.
