Hey everyone,
I wanted to start this thread to welcome the Grossmont nursing applicants for Spring 2024. I will also be applying to City College nursing program as a back-up. I've been looking forward to this day for years and applications open up next month. I cant wait to hear from you guys. Please feel free to reply with your thoughts, comments, questions, points, TEAS, anything.

Hello! I'll be applying next week with 92 points! I took my TEAS last Friday, which was the last piece of the puzzle. Phew! Wishing you all the best. ?

Hello! I am going to apply at the end of the month after I take my TEAS. So not sure how many points I will have. I am also applying for the Fall at City and probably Grossmont because I am not sure I will get in. I was accepted in Spring of 2020 with 85 points but had to drop out for a crazy covid family life and am finally ready to start this journey again. I took the TEAS 6 before and have to take the 7 now so am studying and starting a CNA class, but don't think I will be licensed by the cut off date. But just in case the stars align I am here!

Hi all I applied with 89 points hoping to get in this cohort as last I didn't get in with 84 points, I added my associates to my application this time around. Scored an 85 on my TEAS. Applying to city as a back up as well and SWC in January just in case I don't get into either. Best of luck to us all ❤️
Wow!! You guys (and girls) are all amazing; I'm almost done with my application to Grossmont. I did OK on my TEAS with an 83 but I'll be applying with 94 points if they accept everything. 89 points if I apply to City program but since I don't have a CNA license, I'm going to skip SWC applications.

Wow, it sounds like you've gone through a multitude of circumstances. Good job I'm pulling through and making it here now. I hope we can all motivate each other.

Hello everyone,
I will be applying with 90-92 points depending if I want to write the statements. I took the TEAS 7 and scored a 91.3. I am excited to be applying and best of luck to all of us.

Hi everyone!
I will be applying with a total of 91 points plus 3 more if they get accepted. This will be my first time applying so I am very nervous! Anyways, best of luck to y'all ?
I got a call back today that their alternate dropped out/declined and I was next in line for this upcoming cohort (Fall) OMG I had lost all hope . My advice Don't lose hope if you don't get accepted right away! Best of luck guys ????

I just wanted to ask if anyone had any issues doing the personal statements for the applications (e.g., personal circumstances). For some reason, I'm not able to exceed past 200 words. Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same issue, I had to cut it short so it could all fit.
