Grossmont Nursing Spring 2017 Cohort

Hi! Good luck to everyone who applied for Spring 2017! I just wanted to start a thread for those of us anxiously awaiting to hear back. I will be applying to Mira Costa and Palomar, as well as SDCCD and southwestern later in the year. How many points does everyone thing they had? From what I've read, it seems like most cohorts hear back in mid-late September. I wish everyone the best!

Yes I received an email. I didn't calculate my sciences correctly. iI recieved C+ i thought i would receive 2.3 for it but i only got 2.0 for it . so i have to retake AP 145 .:madface: I wish they would have told me when I first applied !!!!!

I got accepted today too! I think I had about 82 points.

Hi, i was one of the applicants who also applied to the LVN-ADN, and I received two emails. One stating that there was not enough qualified LVNs and the second email stated that my application was put into the ADN program and if my points are high enough then i will recieve a notification regardless if i am accepted or not.

Anyone in the same boat?

Same here. I dont understand why Grossmont even advertises that they offer an LVN-RN program when they haven't done one for years! They never seem to have enough applicants. :bored:Have you applied anywhere else?

Grossmont wants the applicants . I dint think they plan to have a LVN to Rn step up program

4GVN, I applied at MiraCosta and will apply to City and Southwestern as well.

I applied to Mira costa as well. I believe when I applied they said mid October and it will be a letter in the mail!!! Gah even worse than checking email !
