Greenville Tech Nursing Program Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey there, I applied in March for a seat in the Fall! Anyone else out there applying during the March-May seating? Now that we are heading into mid-May I am getting nervous. Obviously about getting in, but secondly, I feel like I know nothing, like what books, and materials we would need to start. I am they type of person that has to prepare lol, so I feel lost that I can't (or don't know how) in the event I do get a seat!!

Man! I would love to hit her with "but the last three Fall application periods the applicants RECEIVED their letters between the last week of June and first week of July"......But I won't send her that. This wait is killing me!!! Maybe we should volunteer to stuff envelopes or something to get this ball rolling LOL!! Anyone want me to send an email asking anything? A friend of my friend sent her an email and her response was " I do not know when letters will be mailed. We hope around July 15th but not sure." and that was yesterday.

Yes! sign me up to volunteer lol. I was thinking earlier, doesn't the next application process start on July 15th? If so don't we REALLY need to know before then??

So i emailed Alissa with the Nursing Admissions yesterday and this was her response : Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the committee that processes applications has not completed that process. They look at each application individually and there were approximately 200, from what I understand. I am hopeful they will send me the names of the students who are eligible for seating by the end of this week. As soon as I get those names I will begin seating students and will send out letters. . I hope to send out letters by the end of this week, but the first part of the process is out of my hands and I cannot begin until all applications are processed. Maybe someone else can email her tomorrow and see if any progress has came along lol.

I wonder if they know email acceptances would be so much easier... and faster... lol who needs snail mail!!

OMG these emails are killing me! thanks for the last email update to Alissa. I just don't understand what is going on?! because it seems like every fall admissions for the last three Fall seatings has had about 200 applicants, so they must have people either on vacation or maternity leave or someone new that hasn't done this in the past checking the applications. Either that or we all have some complex applications LOL! Because literally if you look at past forms on here from the previous Fall seatings you will see what I am talking about. And the May 2017 numbers are posted on the Greenville tech nursing page. And yes the next application period starts July 15th and ends September 15th, so I agree we NEED to know before then.

I would email her again friday and see if she has any new information if no one hears anything else.

Where do I find her email? I will send her an email Thursday to see if there is an update, but I will keep checking the classes that are posted for August and October and let you know if seats are getting filled.

I think the nursing website has a list of emails on there. Do they go ahead and fill the classes though or do they do that at registration when they have orientation?

I found it, thank you! I was told they put you in your classes. And that comment about what Alissa said made it sound like she would start seating us in classes and sending out the letters. I could be wrong though, I have heard a lot of different things so far from people either currently in the program or people that have already graduated the program.

Oh ok. Yeah I am not exactly sure how that works but hopefully they just fill them so we can see if letters will be sent out soon.

Hopefully if they go ahead and register you, you can check your schedule online and see before letters even arrive.

That's exactly why I keep checking my classes but I also keep checking under the "search for classes" and no one has signed up for August or October yet so I will keep y'all posted if anything changes.
