Greenville Tech Nursing Program Fall 2018

Hey there, I applied in March for a seat in the Fall! Anyone else out there applying during the March-May seating? Now that we are heading into mid-May I am getting nervous. Obviously about getting in, but secondly, I feel like I know nothing, like what books, and materials we would need to start. I am they type of person that has to prepare lol, so I feel lost that I can't (or don't know how) in the event I do get a seat!!

Same here! I will let y'all know the moment I know. I check this thing probably 100 times a day

Oh no! Now I am getting even more nervous. It seems like there are usually over 200 but hopefully it wasn't even more than usual.

Good to know I am not the only person obsessing over this! I was really hoping this application period would have a record low of the amount of applicants lol I really want to get in and get started already!

Looking at Fall 2017 they did 3 cohorts of 36 so thats quite a bit of people accepted so hopefully that means the acceptance range will be good.

Yea they fill three cohorts this round and two next application period. But I searched the available classes for nursing and the capacity is 40 for August and October so I'm hoping they seat 3 cohorts for 40 this time but I guess we won't know just yet

So we are looking at third week in July for our letters? I was at a pool party last night and got notifications on my phone I was dying to see what was going on lol.

If I can find Tammy's email, I was planning on emailing her on Tuesday asking if there was an update on when letters would go out. Especially since Tuesday will be EIGHT WEEKS since May 15th!!

Tammy got back to me, she said she is "guessing" not until the 15th OR after.

For them to be sent out?!? Whatttt!!! That's a whole week longer :(

Yeah, good question I read her e-mail a couple of times. I can't make out if she means we will receive them by the 15th (or after) or, they will be mailed out by the 15th..either way looks like nothing for this week. I did ask her if there was more than the usual amount of applicants or if there was a problem. Her reply to that was this, "The cut off for applications was May 15th it takes about 8 weeks to complete them so I would guess around July 15th maybe."

The 15th is a Sunday so hopefully they get them out atleast by Friday of this week.
