Greenville Tech Nursing Program Fall 2018

Hey there, I applied in March for a seat in the Fall! Anyone else out there applying during the March-May seating? Now that we are heading into mid-May I am getting nervous. Obviously about getting in, but secondly, I feel like I know nothing, like what books, and materials we would need to start. I am they type of person that has to prepare lol, so I feel lost that I can't (or don't know how) in the event I do get a seat!!

I have to go verify my identity at the actual post office in order to see it but if anything sends out this week keep us posted!!!

So I was wondering, do you think the acceptance and denial letters look the same? Like do you think a denial letter will look like a regular letter envelope and the acceptance letter will be bigger since people that get in get "packets"? Because now I am freaking out about that LOL!

The acceptance letters are in big envelopes and the denial look like standard pieces of mail!

I emailed Tammy and she responded today that the letters will not go out this week. :(

I am dying to find out!!!! Our eight weeks is July 10th, did Tammy say why the letters are not going out by the 10th?!

I got an email from the deans assistant saying that there were over 200 applicants and they are hoping to be finished so that they letters go out by the end of next week..... but last fall they had over 200 applicants too. They are just taking more time this summer, maybe not enough people on the committee to go through them?

If you look at the outcomes PDF on the greenville tech nursing page it says they received 201 applications for May 2017 and only 179 were eligible and the range of points was 111-200. I agree with you, that they had over 200 this time last year so I don't know what is taking so long. All I know is if my letter comes in next weekend while I'm out of town I WILL DIE lol. I did hear from someone that they heard the list was finalized by June 2nd so I am shocked to be hearing that they aren't done yet.

Omg are you serious?! Ugh maybe it's just double checking everything and putting everyone in order in classes and things. I'm so impatient every time I get a notification from here or from GTC my heart falls down into my stomach. Ugh hurry up next week

I know right?! I don't know if I can wait another 8 weeks if I don't make the cut this time around. But I promise as soon as I receive my letter or hear anything I will let y'all know! Please keep me posted if you get any other emails, I haven't received a single email but I also wasn't sure who to contact to get information about an updated timeline.
