Greenville Tech Nursing Program Fall 2018

Hey there, I applied in March for a seat in the Fall! Anyone else out there applying during the March-May seating? Now that we are heading into mid-May I am getting nervous. Obviously about getting in, but secondly, I feel like I know nothing, like what books, and materials we would need to start. I am they type of person that has to prepare lol, so I feel lost that I can't (or don't know how) in the event I do get a seat!!

I have a question. Does anyone know how the alternates work?

I was accepted into the August class, but am on vacation this week. I'm getting anxious about being able to complete everything in time. I don't have my paperwork with me, but we have to have a 2-step TB test right? Did the paperwork say this needed to be done by August 3rd? And a 2-step takes more than a week to complete doesn't it? How has the process worked for those of you who have already had it placed? Thanks!

I am going for my physical on Friday, I will see what I can get done there if not I will probably head over to the minute clinic as well. I went to Quest Diagnostics and Accurate at one point but minute clinic is closest to me.

Yes, I don't remember exactly but I think you go back a week from the day you get your 1st TB. Physical form due August 3rd by 1:00!

I dropped off my program of study change form earlier, I came home all excited to see if it got changed and if I was enrolled in Nursing classes yet, nothing yet LOL, I was really hoping it was.

If we start in spring do we use that semester as the start date and do we put the reason we are doing a change is because of weighted admission?

So I filled out the main part at the very top and signed it. I left that stuff blank because I wasn't sure myself. When I gave it to Tammy she said it was fine blank that it didn't need to be filled out. --Indicate change desired and reason for making program change.

Did anyone with a overall score of 118 or less get accepted into Greenville Tech 2018 program or approved alternate? Also are any of you graduates of a University with a Bachelors Degree?

The accepted range was 210-122 and the 6 alternates had 121 points.
