Greenville Tech Nursing Program Fall 2018

Hey there, I applied in March for a seat in the Fall! Anyone else out there applying during the March-May seating? Now that we are heading into mid-May I am getting nervous. Obviously about getting in, but secondly, I feel like I know nothing, like what books, and materials we would need to start. I am they type of person that has to prepare lol, so I feel lost that I can't (or don't know how) in the event I do get a seat!!

Also FYI if you need CPR I thought the $60 covered everything but the book is an additional $16. I grabbed mine today while I was there.

I filled out my form and turned it in today. I don't remember though about the address, I filled it out on Friday when I was still in a state of shock lol.

Yes, due to a miscalculation on my end regarding a CLEP score, I had 121 points and am an alternate. Have you heard anything back yet, Lisamarie0406?

Yes, due to wrong information from my advisor I was led to believe I had 15 more points than I do. I was also told by her weeks ago I was accepted and would be seated in January. So I believed her because I had no reason not too until I received my denial letter. Unfortunately I did not get in and now have to go back and tell my job that I was "misinformed". It's not been a good experience for me. But congrats on being an alternate!!

For those of you that start in January, I emailed Tammy to put me on the waiting list to get moved up if anyone drops out for August or October. Has anyone else done that? If so, did Tammy tell you how many people are in front of you?

Thank you! I honestly don't know. I will have the same points which is 108 without that 15. So I'm thinking about re taking the TEAS. Which I really don't want to do lol or applying for tricounty. I just have a lot to think about.
