The word you need to use when talking to facilities is "petition" for green card, not "sponsor". Sponsorship was used for H1B visas, which were very complicated for the hospitals to get.
You just need to call the hospitals, explain that you have NCLEX (if you do) and ask if they petition for nurses.
Thank you!!! I know that it is called petitioning. i have my RN NJ licencse, and F-1 visa. I called all the hospitals in NJ. i don;t want to move, I am getting depressed

I am not sure about facilities, but I know some of the agencies will. Maxim in New Brunswick has gotten other nurses contracts some for three years at one place. Remember to read all contracts carefully

I am also looking for a hospital that would petition for my Greencard. I passed NCLEX here in New Jersey and have a BSN from a college in New Jersey. Please let me know of hospitals that's in the NY/NJ petropolitan area that would petition.
Thanks

saint barnabas health care system used to file for green cards for nurses. Not sure if they still do. there are few nursing homes they definitely will. Give them a call or may be just visit them and talk to the DON directly. If u pay for the lawyer and your visa fees, u won't have to sign any contract too.:smiletea2:
oh thank you, hope i can apply for it.. although i'm still starting, are there companies /agencies/ nursing homes that can petition you when you don't have much experience as of yet?
Thank you guys for all your help!!!
i found already nursing home who sponsors me, they sign 3 years contract, but my lawyers said that their txes don't look good soit may be rejected.
So I am stying there hoping thet it will work out and my contracts holds me.
MAybe soon I will marry mine American boyfriend, and that will be much easier.

Hi martunia, I was wondering if you could tell us the hospitals and nursing homes that you contacted to see if they were willing to petition? Also, for anyone else paying attention to this thread, have you had any success and what facilities do you guys know that are petitioning? Thanks!
