Many nurses out there, especially second coursers from the PI with existing multiple entry visas are desperate to jump the gun. And by some posts here, tourists have been successful in becoming greencard holders and have admitted doing just that. Maybe cheating wins, if you know the legal rules.

And again, you are very wrong on this. You are talking of what went on last year when the situation was quite different. Now, when the entire world has been under retrogression, it is completely different world here.

They just opened it the other day to accepting petitions, there have not been any accepted since last October. So if the nurse has not already been in the US for three months, they do not have much of a chance to get approved. Things are actually stacked against them. Since the government got forced to accept petitions, they are going to be going over them with a fine tooth comb.

Anything that does not look right and they will be denied. It is actually in violation of US Immigration Law to have dual intent when coming to the US on a tourist visa and the nurse will have to prove otherwise.

And there are those here that are starting to get quite upset and I do not blame them. They have waited patiently to get an interview date and they have received it, and then it was cancelled. Last year was a whole other time, and those are the ones that are getting their visas now. And many more of them were actually on student visas rather than the tourist visa if you are actually aware of it.

Do not think that you are going to see many coming here and bragging now about their tourist visa and having a petition submitted when they have not been here the proper amount of time. Immigration officials are very internet savvy and are very aware of what is going on.

Think of what you do when you get forced to do something that you do not want to do, you rebel. That is what you are going to see now. Just because something was forced to be accepted, does not mean that it will get approved. And for those that came over in a hurry and expected to sneak thru, word has been out for sometime that the Visa Screen is needed in hand to have any of the petitions submitted, not like what they did last year.
