hi there
congrates:balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons:
how long did you find out that they mailed you a card. My profile was updated today but the message is still the same. do you think i too will get my gc??
Not so fast fellas. The fact that u've gotten your cards does'nt mean u shd vacate this forum. Your contributions will be very resourceful for for prospective greencard holders. Fillow the examples of Suzzane, Lawrence and co. They got thers and they stayed back to help.BTW congrats:balloons:
I am actually an American RN, born and raised in the US. And with a US birth certificate.
Do I get extra brownie points for helping?
Biggest thing is where you live. The cards are sent out by surface mail, larger cities get their mail faster.
That is why the letter states to give it up to thirty days to receive it. If you received a letter that it was sent and you do not receive it in about two weeks, follow up to see where it was sent to.
Thank you for the nice note. I am planning on having a wonderful Saturday and Sunday.

Nursing is based alot on common sense, that is even how I teach preparation for the NCLEX exam, the ABCs with common sense thrown in.
Immigration is essentially the same thing in many ways. You have x number of product, you have y number of people that want your product. When you have more applicants than there are visas, there is a delay for some of them. And we just saw it again this past week. When you force someone to do something or offer something that they do not have, then they are not going to be as agreeable in approving of things. Those that are trying to get their AOS documents submitted but are here on a tourist visa, are going to be closely scrutinized, that is a definite. Expect to see quite a few denials when they are not here long enough. There has been a reason that attorneys wait the 90 days to submit in most cases, and this is so that it does not appear as dual intent. People like to argue with me about this, but is it certainly the case.
