My Principal asked me to verify this note. It really made me laugh.....
Dear Ms. "Smith"
"Johnny" has been excused from school from 11/09 til 12/09. They found influenza A which is H1N1 . He's out so long because the timeframe he is contagious even after the H1N1 has left is two weeks :icon_roll.......As far as "Johnny" goes he could use all the love and support he can get, cards, drawings, flowers, coloring books, stuff to do in bed he really doesn't leave his bed much. His fever goes from good days of 102.3 :chuckle to bad days of 106 .
Send home only the most important homework and we'll try on good days. 102 or lower fever :rotfl:!!!
Mom has also called saying little "Johnny" has had fevers of 109 :lol2: Of course when I talked to the ED Dr. who saw little "Johnny" he had to look through his notes to remember him (Guess there's tons of kids with 109 fevers rolling through) and he did write a note excusing "Johnny" from 11/9-12 but someone (Gee who could that be) added a "/9" to extend little "Johnny's" sick leave. Of course calls home go unanswered. Must be too difficult to get away from bedside what with "Johnny's" 109 delerium fevers. Too much!!!!!!
