Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.
Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.
Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.
Sorry... which class is do you get to pick a movie Health Assessment?
My signature color is pink :) I love that movie
I also did Steel Magnolias. The disease process is Type1.If you decide on The Mask, make sure it is NOT the Jim Carrey version!!
I wish I could more precise and to the point! Mine don't go on forever but I hope that I don't get her! lol
yep, not lying....I found that out first hand, lol

yep..NRS 434
I'm trying to imagine what's in the DQ's for stats!
The DQ's are not an issue...Just the exercise book questions, and then the excel part
Easy enough to Google and in ur weekly readings...
Wow...It's so quiet in my CLC, I can't even hear crickets! Not a good sign.....

They are really dry but wasn't too bad. Mine were closer to 200-300 for initial responses and 150-200 for responses. Be first and set your post up for easy responses and then respond to all the responses. Done, if that makes any sense....
I loved this class for this reason. I got to see the work submitted by my fellow classmates. There were some that were pretty good but then there were a few that did not even meet the criteria for a 'C' PPT. These students passed I am sure.I would like to see this but would it also prevent good nurses from getting jobs? There are some students that do not test well but know the material. I had one of these students in my class and I would let her work on me or a family member without hesitation. I wish there was a way to weed out the people that live the motto "C's get degrees."
I would hate this. Many of the students I went to school with in my ADN program received A's in class, but were HORRIBLE in clinicals. I was the exact opposite. I couldn't take a test to save my life, but get me in on a procedure and I was going at it perfectly. I am a hands-on person; definitely not a read and write learner!
