Hi again everyone!
i was just wondering if anyone out there has completed the Grand Canyon University RN-BSN online bridge program. i was wondering how time-demanding it is, the approximate cost, as well as the difficulty of completion while working full time.
please let me know what you all think....
thank you!
The entire RN to BSN program is online and it is set up well. That is what attracts a lot of students basically from all over the country. It is interesting all the people you meet. I love the program and have learned a lot but that being said the administration is not as good as the program or the instructors for that matter.
Ougreene,
That is so funny...that is how I posted a lot of my cyber cafe responses that I have 3 boys and one if them is 6'3" (hubby). Good luck in the program. I just finished my BSN last week and am now looking into taking the Masters in Nurse Education. Figure might as well just keep going while still in student mode. Hubby is not on board so may take a few months off and start in January 2010. Doing the classes gets easier and after a while they get a bit repetitive. I just recently found out that for those that already have a lot of undergrad classes that there are programs out there (ie) at Walden University that will let you do RN to MSN with taking a lot less classes if that is a end goal. Wish I had known that prior but live and learn. But think I learned a lot through the program in particular with research that think it was worth doing. And with tuition reimbursement it did not cost me a dime except books. I consider myself very fortunate. Good luck...and keep plugging along. It goes by fast. Took me just over 2 years (started March 2007) by doing it slow since I didn't want to pay out of pocket but think I might do it even slower with a MSN since it would give me breaks in between especially during the summer. I did summer classes for the BSN to get it done but having summers off is NICE. Again...good luck and you will be so happy with your accomplishment when you are done!!!! It was fun going to graduation.
Take care!!!!

The RN to BSN is entirely online. I'm only in my first class but am very pleased so far.
