Does anyone know about Grady Nurse Residency Summer 2021 ? I am trying to do application but I can't find when and where to apply for it. Please let me know if any hints. Thank you so much!

I haven’t received anything. The only email I got was the initial one about the required hours. 
 

It’s nerve wrecking especially since I have another interview this Friday with another hospital.

did anyone get an email saying they received your profile that you submitted? Im not sure what this means, I got it about 10 minutes ago

No, nothing like that. A few of my classmates did receive the sign up times for interviews

do you know if Grady is doing like a generalized link to sign up for interviews after you get the time slots? kinda like how emory does it

No, it is per unit. I got 3 separate emails for 3 different units

So I actually called the recruiter because I had another interview today and a standing off at another. So apparently I filled out my application wrong which caused her to move passed my application. That’s why I never received any of the other emails like you all have. I was so hurt when she said that. So basically she states that most of critical care is filled up right now for interviews. They’re waiting to interview and see if those spots get filled before moving on the the next. My 1st was SICU and my 2nd is Burns. She told me that SICU is booked for interviews and the waiting list is super long but I was able to get in an interview for Burns. 
 

she’s the only person doing the scheduling and everything for residency so she’s swapped.

how did you get in touch with her? also did she explain how you filled it out wrong?

I emailed the Grady recruiter email and she responded and it had her contact information at the bottom and the spot there it tells you to put how many practicum hours in critical care I said TBD but I’m an Extern in the ICU and she said I should have put that. But my application states that I’m an Extern in the ICU which is separate from school clinical. I didn’t want to lie , So ??‍♀️

I also didn’t state a preference I just said critical care

Sorry that happened to you. What made you email the recruiter?

To validate my experience as an Extern instead of having practicum. Also to see if they send out rejections to candidates that weren’t selected for interviews because I have offers from other facilities but Grady is my top choice.
