Grady Nurse Residency Summer 2021

Does anyone know about Grady Nurse Residency Summer 2021 ? I am trying to do application but I can't find when and where to apply for it. Please let me know if any hints. Thank you so much!

Yeah but it’ll be a while because if people decline they’ll just go to the next person for an interview. Also she said she’ll reach out to see if people interested may take med surg. Until you get a rejection anything is possible

Hey ladies, I applied to Grady’s residency I got an email a day after I applied on the 8th , I got matched to more of the elderly acute care units possibly due to my CNA experience and surgical trauma but I’ll be a new grad in May and I’m grateful Grady considered me , they always sent me , spots have been filled email over the last 3 years for tech positions? so I am praying I can get in with either of the units I got an email to interview for , I was just sent my webx link earlier today  ❤️ I hope everyone gets accepted and interviews go well ??

That’s awesome. I sent my ideal interview times in yesterday for MICU, NICU, and Labor and Delivery but I haven’t received a Webex link yet. I guess because they don’t start interviewing until 2 weeks from now.

Wow girl , that is awesome , you have got some really good units , I hope you get in your departments of choice ❤️??I applied late so knew ICU, ED and mom & baby was a no for me from them , I’m grateful I got matched to pick what they have for me , which were mostly Medsurg . Do you know anything about how their Grady interview process goes ? I’m a little nervous but trying to go with the flow as I’m doing in my final semester right now and be as calm as I can be ?

Lina be ready for scenario questions and be on your feet with it , because it’s a lot of questions that will make you think about a time something happen and how was it resolved, and how you prioritize work/care etc. , I’m just blessed and happy I was able to go back to a time I experienced the questions they ask me. The interviewers are really nice and made me feel welcomed, I just pray and hope the experience I had with them lands me a spot in the residency program ❤️ Good luck every one

Hi Jenny! 

Thank you for this I actually just did my interview at 1:30 pm. Do you know how soon they will get back to use about an offer? I forgot to ask the interviewer about that question

Hey Lina ? That is awesome , yay ? I hope it went well for you . My interviewer told me they will get back with us via email if chosen and that can take about a week or two. So most likely probably after everyone is interviewed ? so the wait begins, I have another interview for a step down ICU unit this Wednesday, I hope someone picks me ❤️??? I put all other residencies on hold and didn’t apply to them except for Wellstar which I have interviews for this week, I have the most faith in Grady to train me the best ??

Hey guys! I emailed the recruiter back for the critical care units that I am interested in on Monday, but she hasn’t responded yet with a link or anything for an interview. Did you guys had to wait this long as well?

Hi Anon,

The HR person for your department you selected will send the Webex not the recruiter, that’s how it went for me , I gave the recruiter my time and HR for the unit I was interviewing for contacted me with the link a few days later ? if that helps . I’m now in the waiting game , waiting for emails to see if I got accepted or not  ??
