Hi everyone, I am scheduled to take my CPNE on August 20th and I was going to book my motel with the Holiday Inn in Atlanta that Excelsior recommends, but when I called today to get my reservations, the staff was very rude. I want to stay somewhere with reliable wi-fi and safe parking but for $120 or less a night, also something close to Grady. The reviews of the Holiday Inn that is recommended aren't very good. I was looking at the Hilton and the Sheraton downtown, they have mixed reviews. If anyone is familiar with the Atlanta area or can recommend a motel from experience it would be greatly appreciated. I already have enough stress lol! Thanks!

I stayed at the hotel Sheri uses for her workshop. It's 15-20 min drive from Grady and no real hassles driving there. They didn't have wifi but the did have LAN. Plus the room was only 59 a night plus tax, and the rooms were recently remodeled. It's in Dunwoody and in a very quiet location almost park like setting.

TiffanyLPN tested that weekend also, I think she had said she stayed at the Hilton maybe she'll give you feedback on her stay.

Good Luck to you

Steve

I stayed at the Hilton downtown Atlanta... It was wonderful and not that expensive because i paid in advance... Here is a link to my journal... I talk about the hotel in it...

I stayed at the Hilton as well and got it for about 80 dollars a night through price line.com. There were some parking costs and a 50 dollar deposit fee that is refunded when you check out. Overall it was nice and I walked to and from Grady hospital one of the days, its like 5 minutes from the hotel. I know people say its a rough area but it didn't seem all that bad to me, just busy as any city would be. They do have wireless internet but it is an additional cost per day. Good Luck!!
