Congrat's on your acceptance!! I am waiting for my letter to come, a few friends got their letters yesterday and the day before yesterday, and here I sit...no letter.. I know my application was reviewed, I called them to make sure and they sent me a letter stating that it was received. I am so frustrated. I am a nervous wreck!!

Hoping you can celebrate along with your friends who received their letter. At least you got a letter stating your app is being reviewed. After not hearing anything regarding my status for the Fall semester, I went ahead and quickly applied to another program, this time it was an Accelerated ASN program and got the TEAS V review book and taking a class that is required for that program. Three weeks later, I find out that all of it was a waste of money. Yes, I am admitting I placed my eggs in one basket, even though I don't recommend doing that.
I got my letter of acceptance today for UPMC St. Margaret School of Nursing in Pittsburgh for a June 2011 start!! I am soo excited!!! I can't even believe it. I feel so lucky, I got in on my first choice school, on first time applying. I feel truly blessed, and it makes me think that "YES" this is the path I am supposed to be taking!! I am just beside myself. I will admit, I cried!!

I just wanted to share with everyone (as it is tradition), that I have finally been accepted to Nursing School. I am a career changer and I've always wanted to be in the medical field, and now I'm officially on my way. I got into an Accelerated BSN program for the Spring semester. Even though starting January, I'll be an official NS (no more pre-), I promise to visit this forum and give some advice to the next generation of pre-nursing students.
I can't wait to see a lot more of you guys/gals over in the 'Nursing Student' forum. Nice to start my weekend with a big smile. :)
