Your sig line says you are going to be a LPN in 2006- are you doing LPN and RN at same time??? HOw does that work?

I'll start my core nursing classes in August and I will grad ADN May 2007. Right now I'm in A&P 2 and College Algebra. I'll be taking Micro and ENG 102 over the summer. Then the only non-core class I still need is a humanities elective :) I am so psyched and nervous at the same time! LOL

Some ADN programs allow you to sit for your LPN boards after a year of going through the program.

My school allows this too. But since I don't plan to work til after I get my ADN, it doesn't seem worthwhile for me.

that would be good for those who can't pass the 2nd year of ADN program-something to fall back on. My school doesn't offer that.

I'll be graduating in 2007 as well. I haven't gotten "in" yet, but am apparently going to be starting the nursing program at my school this fall. I'm on the wait list & when I asked the "grand poobah who's in charge" when my name will come up, she told me fall 2005...I've been on the wait list since September 2003 & am done with all but one of my non-nursing classes (general pharm), which I'm going to take this spring.
