am i to expect that after obtaining my license that i will get stuck with workin the night shift

No....alot depends on where you want to work, the number of new hires / new grads the facility takes at the same time you're hired, and the needs of the unit you are hired on.
When I started, it was day shift that was looking for people, and night shift was only accepting one or two new people! Nights gets paid more, so sometimes it's more desirable, depends on alot. But you shouldn't assume that you WILL work nights.
OTOH, you might not be "stuck" with night shift, you might like it
How much longer before you sit for NCLEX?

I wanted nights/weekends when i got hired. I found out later that they needed days more. But i got it.

a ton of ppl think that. but NO. not for sure,and i agree with the other post'er... u may prefer noc! you never know until you try. i said the exact same thing, and its not horrific.
