I have been in an intensive LNC course through Keiser college.. Great program I might add, butit has been a long hard 20 week program.. 2 more weeks to go!

After finals I do not know if I will work in this new found knowledge, but the course has been interesting anyway.

Congratulations, Monica. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I have to ask, however..........why are you considering not working as an LNC????

Specializes in LTC, Hospice, Case Management.

Monica, please share more info on the course you took. Trying to explore all options before making a decision. How was the cost, did you learn the marketing strategies, was this an online course, can you post a website, any info ya got would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to you.

The course was $1980.00 It is all on line and in chapters verses all at once in the quicky courses. No offense to those who have taken the fast course, but it is too much to learn in a few days.

I have always had an interest in the content of LNC. I may check out the market in my area, and may pursue it, the reason for the course actually is that I have been in upper management positions and felt the knowledge would be useful.. and it has.

the website is http://www.keisercollege.org

or search for Keiser college Sarasota,Florida

I think you have to be a licensed RN in Fla to take the course.

We lwarned every thing from marketing to all legal asoects.. it was quite in depth. We are down to the final now, next week and then DONE!

Hello, Monica,

When you do complete that program, do you receive ongoing support with cases and/or marketing?

You have spent quite a bit of time with this program. I do hope you are able to utilize the education and work as LNC.

I was wondering, too........what title is bestowed upon completion? I've been interested in hearing from ones who actually completed the program.

Thanks and good luck.

The title is LNC, not CLNC as I would need 2000 hours of actual case study experiance to sit for the exam.. I am not working as an LNC, just took it for the interest in the course content. I am a DON and the legal aspects have been helpful.
