Hi All, I've just been accepted to Nurse Anesthesia school and would like to get some of the coursework out of the way before the program begins. Does anyone have any recommendations for online Nursing Theory and/or Research courses? Thanks for your input!

Most schools do not accept graduate level coursework for credit. Check with your school before you spend the $$.

Can you take courses at the school you were accepted to? I am able to at my program before matriculation. However, if you take them elsewhere, I would just make sure they will transfer before hand. Rush offers student at large classes including a research course and what not, but they are pretty expensive!! Def look into your accepting school!

I recommend doing it at the school you were admitted to. I have a master's degree and have taken graduate level research classes and I have to retake them. I was able to get out of taking theory and stats, but I highly recommend doing it at your future school, or at least speaking with someone there to make sure the credits will transfer. Usually they ask for a course syllabus to evaluate the course contents.
Another thought: Nothing prevents you from buying a text and learning these subjects yourself while waiting for enrollment. Then you ace the course with minimal effort- allowing you to concentrate on the more difficult courses.
