I graduate from the LPN program on December 13, 2007 I was wondering when should I start looking and applying for jobs. Should I apply before I graduate or after I graduate and take the NCLEX-PN?

I personally would wait until I possessed an actual license before I started seeking LPN jobs, because there will be no reason for any potential employer to turn you away. It really sucks to land a job, and then be fired or be demoted to an aide or tech position because you did not pass NCLEX when they were expecting you to.

I agree with the Commuter. I waited until I at least had my temporary license before I started filling out applications. Luckily, it only took a couple of weeks before I found a job. For me, I'm glad I invested most of my free time on studying for my NCLEX instead of looking for a job because it paid off.
