GPC Nursing Fall 2016

Hi all !

I have been looking to see if anyone would start this thread - then I decided I would do it ! I currently have a bachelor's degree in Sociology & Spanish going back for nursing! I took my prereqs at Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Perimeter over the last few years. I applied back in October and the waiting has been hard!

Wanted to hear from some other people applying for next fall!

I too received my acceptance letter and I'm beyond ecstatic. I was wondering do we have to mail in the acceptance form or can we drop the form off in person on campus?

This is my first time posting to this thread, so I want to say congratulations to you all.

I called them to ask the same question, and we can do either. I was worried that if I mailed it, it wouldn't get there in time.

Hello Everyone,

I received my acceptance letter yesterday!!! YESSSSSS :) This is my first time posting in this discussion. I'm anxious & excited about this journey! Hopefully we can form a strong support system for one another. :)

God definitely rewards patience, diligence, & hard work! kudos to encouraging those who may not have been accepted yet! I have applied to nursing school before & did not receive the acceptance the first go round. I truly considered giving up on applying for good; however, there was always a nagging feeling that this was my true calling! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE never give up!

PS These next few months Ill be mentally, spiritually, physically, and financially preparing myself for this next journey!

Does anyone have any insight on what to expect? I wonder if this whole Georgia State Perimeter College thing has changed the nursing program???

I definitely am puzzled as to how the recent merger with Georgia State will affect the nursing program. On the optimistic side, hopefully it will improve the program. I believe we will be the first cohort (incoming) that will be introduced to the changes. Ideally, I hope this will increase our chances in the RN-BSN program with the university??? I'm sure they'll give us the run down during the orientation.

BTW do you live in the Clarkston area? I'm in Norcross

Congratulations on Both Acceptances! Some people can't get one. Best wishes at Kennesaw State! You will finish with a BSN, which is awesome!

You can send it to the administrative coordinator in building H room 3115..Just dropped mine off today...
