  1. Congrats on your acceptance to the program everyone! I am currently in my first semester, so I'm just one semester ahead of you all. To your question about tuition & books, aside from tuition and university/college fees, I would set aside another $500-$700 for additional things that are required. They may change some things for you all, but it's better to be safe than sorry! Having a Facebook group for your class is going to be a great tool for you all to help each other out & encourage one another... there will be much encouragement needed! Any other questions, just let me know!
  2. @Lohems is it private? I couldnt find it. My name on facebook is Imani Cee
  3. @blossonbeauty I hope so - I'm in the sandy springs area, so not too far!
  4. Does anyone have any insight on what to expect? I wonder if this whole Georgia State Perimeter College thing has changed the nursing program???
  5. Sorry I havent been posting for so long - I had issues with getting locked out of the account! Im soooo happy to say that Ive been accepted for the Fall as well!!!! Praise God This has been a long journey for me - 4 years of applying and trying to improve my GPA from undergrad! Congrats to everyone else that got in & I'll meet you in August. To those who were not accepted... DO NOT GIVE UP!! God rewards patience diligence and hard work! Now I need to figure out how to calm down & get through the next few months ^_^
  6. That's awesome, I have a coworker that graduated from Emory! I only applied to GPC as well - im praying we all get accepted! Im not sure how many people applied this year, but im sure it was a lot. Cant wait to find out! ^_^ Has anyone visited the campus? I went throughout the building after I took my A&P final, but I didnt see much. Im so curious what the sim labs are like!
  7. Those are great stats! Yesss same for me.. in the meantime, i've decided to be productive. Brushing up on drug calculations and body systems. Have you applied anywhere else?
  8. Wow April 30th? *looks at calendar* i know in the forum for Fall 2015, they found out closer to end of March. So i'm hoping that's the same for us! That's good everyone is finishing up their prereqs, im sure its a headache to do them while in the program! Good luck with those grades! I got a 91 on the teas and im honestly not sure my GPA for GPC because i have credits coming in from a few different schools from over the years and i think my A&P I may be considered too old! I believe it is 3.0 Is anyone already in the medical field?
  9. Has anyone applied for Fall 2016?? I applied in November and cant wait to hear back! This page has been really helpful with preparing me mentally
  10. Hi all ! I have been looking to see if anyone would start this thread - then I decided I would do it ! I currently have a bachelor's degree in Sociology & Spanish going back for nursing! I took my prereqs at Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Perimeter over the last few years. I applied back in October and the waiting has been hard! Wanted to hear from some other people applying for next fall!
