Hi all !
I have been looking to see if anyone would start this thread - then I decided I would do it ! I currently have a bachelor's degree in Sociology & Spanish going back for nursing! I took my prereqs at Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Perimeter over the last few years. I applied back in October and the waiting has been hard!
Wanted to hear from some other people applying for next fall!
Not sure either. Does anyone know when letters were received last year? The merger could have something to do with the delay. Anyone know if the nursing program will be GSU ADN program instead of GPC's? Im assuming it will but nothing has changed on nursing end since merger (and a lot of other things have been renamed).

Reading previous posts on here it looks like they started to receive letters around March 15th
I attended a webnar a few days ago, and the program coordinator stated that the letters will be mailed by April 30. We will receive our Associates degrees from GSU, since Perimeter College is one of GSU'S colleges. For the generic track, we can't take any nursing classes in the summer. So I will just use that time to complete prerequisites for my BSN. GPC's nursing program has a retention rate of 80%, and a passing rate of 90% on the state boards on the first try. For the TEAS, they look at Reading and Math, and then your overall score. They don't emphasize science too much, which is excellent in comparison to all the other schools in metro Atlanta. In my opinion, they have the lowest qualifications for a very high quality nursing education. I wish everyone well. Please feel free to reply to this post if you have any questions. I've studied the pros and cons of GPC'S nursing program for a while.
I just called them again to ask a couple questions and she told me that the letters were sent out Friday, so we should be getting them any day now! But to answer your question, no not yet! I'm at work until 5....ugh!
Thanks for information..I haven't received a letter yet.I'm glad to know that they have started to send letters. I'm starting to get nervous! !!
