GPC Nursing Fall 2016

Published

Hi all !

I have been looking to see if anyone would start this thread - then I decided I would do it ! I currently have a bachelor's degree in Sociology & Spanish going back for nursing! I took my prereqs at Gwinnett Tech and Georgia Perimeter over the last few years. I applied back in October and the waiting has been hard!

Wanted to hear from some other people applying for next fall!

Spring application is still on May 31 is the due date for Spring. Yes, you are going to be with the same students each semester, but they are still reducing the number of students they are accepting. It will be harder to get in...in my opinion :(

Ohhhh i was unaware that they have reinstated the Spring application. GPC reducing the number of acceptance doesn't worry me much, or i'm trying to not let it get to me

Y'all are making me nervous [emoji15] haha

hang in there :)

Me too! It looks like the students last year found out their admission status this same weekend last year. I'm going to be glued to my mailbox all weekend

My mom is friends with one of the RNs at the Dunwoody student clinic and he told her that apparently the nursing department won't be mailing letters until May. I REALLY hope it's just word of mouth and he's wrong cause I can't wait that long...

Every time I've spoken with someone in the office, they've told me that we should hear no later than April 30th. I'm going to be annoying and call them again.

Just called and the lady told me that they're projecting to send out letters in April. Ugggghhhh so far away!

Did they say why is delayed this year? Other schools had already informed their students way before :(

wellp I give up on checking the mail religiously every day haha

I knew that they have a fall and spring acceptance now, but didn't know that they are only accepting 100 for the fall instead of 60.

Hey guys, my name is derek. i been reading the thread for awhile so I decided to comment. I also applied for this fall so I'm excited to hear anything back. I have a 3.1 gpa and scored a 84 on the teas so we'll see how this goes! Anyone else care to share your stats? I hope I get in, Im anxious to hear back without calling and blowing up their office phone all spring haha
