So I know Orientation is on July 26, but can anyone tell me what time it is and the place. I believe I saw it somewhere but I can't seem to locate where I saw this info.

Hey Adorable!
I talked to you once at GPC-Dunwoody. I remember in our conversation you mentioning homeschooling several kids. I was the older African-American gentleman nervous and excited about my recent acceptance into GPC'S nurisng program, and just as you are so generously doing on this site you graciously answered many of my questions; providing fear alleviating insight into the program that only a current student can give:). I would greatly appreciate if you could also email any old 1921 syllabus or fundamental course outline/expectations. I would like to use the summer and try to read as much of the initial Nursing 1921 testable information as possible. Thank you for striving to help us soon to be nursing students following behind you. [email protected]
Hey Ya'll, This is info I found on the GPC fall 2011 thread in regards to getting a head start on your reading in Fundamentals: Chapters 1 Intro to Nursing, 4 Health and Illness, 27 Asepsis and Infection Control, 21 Communication, 24 Vital Signs,
Sorry, accidentally sent send ;-) You should also read about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, ABC's(?), ADPIE(?), ATI How to Answer Nurses Exam Questions and The chapter on Loss, Grief and Dying (don't know chapter #).I hope this helps :-D
