GPC acceptance letter please!!!!

Published

The wait is becoming a little to much to bear!!! The fall class of 2010 seemed like they started getting accetance letters in the beginning of March. I know they said wait til the end of April but why must we have to suffer, sshhhissshh!:confused::confused:

I am super excited to meet the my new nursing school friends this Fall. I got my acceptance letter on Monday! YAY!!!!! I noticed in the packet 2 different due dates for the material...May 16 and May 6. Which one is correct? And since I am a second degree student, I will need to look into a student loan (as opposed to the Hope which I used the first time around), does anyone know of a good site or information on where to find the latest on the best student loans? Does anyone know about this RN bootcamp? Also, I live inside the perimeter but am happy to meet anywhere for the CPR class. Congratulations to you all!!!:nurse::yeah:

I have a friend who is in the program right now and she said to either go to orientation or the boot camp but not to go to both. She said they were mostly the same!

Thanks for the info Weston's Mom. :nurse:

Congratulations everyone! Am I the only one that is super excited and anxious to start?

For those near Lawrenceville, I found a class at Gwinnett Tech. It is scheduled for May 7 at 9am-2pm. $67 includes CPR card, certification, books. Actually, I just signed up for it. :o I was told they have 7 more slots for that date as of today. If anyone else wants to join me, that would be awesome! It is centrally located right off of I-85 and 316. It is the CPR for Healthcare Providers class from the American Heart Association. Here's the link. Then click on Health and Wellness. Their # is 770-995-9697 if you have questions.

Congratulations EVERYONE who made it into GPC nursing school. I currently applied to Gwinnett Tech and just had my interview yesterday. The most nerveracking thing ever. I didn't apply to any other schools so this is my one basket that all my eggs are in. My heart breaks for those who didn't get in this time around because I know how bad I want this so I can only imagine how bad you want this as well but someone told me Brenau and Emory are alot less competitive. You pay, you play. Period. Good luck to you all, and congrats again. I will let you all know when i hear word. We had to take the Kaplan which is THE HARDEST TEST!! OMG! I have a 4.0 GPA and made an 84 on the exam.

I also looked into going to this CPR class but I have to work on Saturday! I did find one at North Georgia College in Dahlonega next Saturday May 7th. It is from 9 until 12. She has 5 spots left and the cost is $35. If you are interested let me know and I will get you her number!! :)

Hi everyone!

I applied for Spring 2012 and just took my TEAS last Thursday. I just wanted to say congratulations to all of you that got in for this fall and to those that didn't don't give up hope....!!

After reading all of your posts, I am so empathetic. They told us that we should get our letters within 3 weeks which puts us about the 2nd week of July and I am so scared that I didn't get in. I have a 4.0 gpa for my math and sciences this time around and I did score an 82 on the TEAS but still. I went to GA State over 20 years ago and had a B-C avg. I'm hoping that won't count against me since it's been so long ago. I guess we'll see.

Anyway, keep posting after you guys all start, I want to hear all about it!
