GPA for nursing school

Published

I am a senior in High School and I want to be a Nurse, I started Pre-Requisites last year and I have A's in all my classes except for A&P I got an 85% in that class because I'm overwhelmed with high school and college classes. Should I retake the class? Did anyone else get into nursing school with a B in A&P

I know people who got into nursing school with a C in A&P... don't fret!

Although your chances for securing acceptance to a reputable nursing program would increase if you had earned an 'A' grade in A&P, people have been accepted after having earned a 'B.' Good luck to you.

Depends on how competitive the school your planning to attend it. Call the college and asking them the average GPA of student's accepted in to the clinical seat (if they will tell you? not sure) that would be a good place for you to find out if you should re-take it. Kudos to you BTW for doing so much before you even out of high school.
