GP clinic nurse practitioner

Ive always been interested in primary health care, and I'm interested in becoming a nurse practitioner in a gp clinic but wondering if it's right for me. Can any one describe their role and what they like and dislike about it. Or just any advice.

I have other areas of interest such as gynaecology and youth health but I'm worried that I might lose interest over time. Whereas in primary health care you get a variety health problems, including gynaecology and youth health.

im not planning on starting nurse practitioner programme for another 2 years, but want to explore my options before committing to post grad study. However I know I want to be a nurse practitioner.

I recommend shadowing NPs in varying fields to see which floats your boat. That might be the best way to get a feel of what NPs do in these different fields.
