Hey everybody. so i took the nclex last 21st of feb, took all 265 questions and came out of that test feeling like i failed. 16 days passed and i get the letter of death (the big yellow letter) saying that i was ALMOST close to passing on every damn category. the funny thing about all this is that i knew what killed me that day. MY NERVES!! i prepared really well for that test taking Kaplan and scoring in the mid 60's to sometimes 70's on qbank and qtrainer. my biggest mistake was studying the night before the test. I encourage everyone that hasnt taken the test yet to let it all go a good 2 days before you take it, have some relaxing fun, a good dinner before the test, sleep, and go in there thinking you are going to take 265 questions for 6 hours so if the computer shuts off on you before that you will be surprised. anyway, its back on the saddle for me. Pray for a brother!!!!!:angryfire
Im back on track right now myself. I have been studying everyday for 2 hours max (dont want to over kill myself) just concentrating on the stuff that i know im weak on (Pharm, cardio, and...oh! Pharm). im hoping to take the test again this April but have not heard back from the Ca BON about my att. my 45 days is up on the 5th of april. how long does it usually take for them to let you retest?

Pearsonvue will send your ATT once they receive the OK from BRN
Take a deep breath and keep trying hon!... My friend took it last year and didn't pass either, (but she was also running late that morning and couldn't find parking around the testing site) but she passed the next time she took it (and took the bus instead.. go fig!)
I did a 4-day review/book/online testing (Sally Lagerquist stuff).
i was wondering wat would be the best thing to do if i fail, i havent got my results yet. i am wondering if i have to fill out an application again cuz i already did that and i am thinking they already have all my info. that i could just send the money. plez help wat can a person do if they fail.

Oh man,that stinks.
Sometimes I think it is more nerves than anything what gets to a person for that test.
I prepared from kaplan and I hardly ever scored high, I was averaging 53% to up to 58% and I passed first time around.
I think that reading that blue book and watching the videos really helped me. and I also had the strategies book which is basically the course in a book.
I studied the night before, but not all day, just the test taking strategies, I ate my favorite food, watched my favorite TV show... relaxed a little. But I understand the feeling the night before.
well, now just get back on the saddle and try again. It is possible to pass.
good luck!
