Hello future nurses... Who has applied to GSC Spring 2016 nursing program, I have? Now I'm waiting to take the CTT and see where things go from there.

Specializes in Vents, Telemetry, Home Care, Home infusion.

Hi, I've seen several threads from 2015 students... hope a member 2016 class sees this thread.

:)

I just took it today made

CT: 75

GPA: 3.6

hopefully I will get in but I really don't think my stats are good at all. worried.

Hi @orthotech1993...Glad to get a response from you.

I think your stats are pretty good when compared to previously accepted fall\spring cohorts. As for me, I'm the one that should be worried. My stats:

GPA: 3.2

CTT: scheduled Aug.25th

Yea. I'm just worried because there are A crazy huge number of people applying.... But we will see. I hope I get in if I don't I will be bummed. I know 2 people that failed this morning the CT test...it's a weird test that you cannot prepare for... have you taken it before?

I just took the CTT Tuesday and got an 87, GPA 3.6. I feel the same way, @orthotech1993. There are a lot of people applying, and I'm not even sure how many people they will take.

@orthotech1993...I haven't taken a CTT before so I'm clueless about what to expect. As for acceptance, we'll just have to see what happens. A lot of people may not pass the entrance assessment and won't qualify even with a super GPA. By the way, like how many people applied for the spring?

idk I just would think alot

when I took the critical thinking test there were 30 or more taking test. and the test was administered twice that day.

so that's roughly 60 people on that day.

then there was a test that Thursday roughly 60 people. and there is two testing dates this week and 2 times to take the test on those two days.... so this might be a rough estimate maybe like 240? idk.......... I wish I knew the exact number.

I applied for the spring as well.

I have a 3.7 gpa and made a 77.5 on the CT. Hoping for the best for all of you! I know a lot of girls who didn't even pass the Ct. Anyone have friends who have gotten in before.. If so, what were their scores?

have you gotten a letter yet in the mail?

I have not the anticipation is killing me

When I applied for the LPN program at Southern Crescent technical college I had a 4.0 GPA but did terrible on my TEAS test and still got in. I know this was off topic but I figured it might help somebody feel better.

Hey guys!! Just wanted to say that I got my acceptance letter in today!!! I'm wishing the best for you all! :)
