Has anyone heard any info about the applications for the fall semester?
Does anyone know how it works to be wait-listed? Does that letter come in place of a denial letter, or after being denied? Any information would be greatly appreciated. My best friend was denied but I was accepted and we are both just devastated. I thought maybe the wait- list letters come separately, but I'm not sure.
A friend of mine that was accepted, knows ar least one person that was waitlisted and she got her letter the same day we got ours. And I bet those on the waitlists will be accepted, because alot of people apply for more than one program. I will only be applying to Gordon because of its location, 20 miles from my home. with three kids in school I cant be an hour away all the time. I guess for all that were not accepted we will be gathering here again in 6 months. At least me know that it actually takes a minimum of 10 weeks ro hear back. They should change that on there web sight. The 8 weeks doesn't seem to have been true for a while.
I was flat out rejected....Then I got a letter from the nursing Department on Saturday that said congrats, we were able to accept more students and you are accepted please reserve your seat by May 16th.... I only ive 20 minutes away so I am hand delivering my letter. I am a transfer student, my GPA is 3.89, I still have 2 core classes to take when i turned in my application I actually had 4 classes that needed completion. I only made a 63 on the TEAS.... I AM IN SHOCK! Watch your mailboxes is all I can say......

I was wait listed with a 2.8 and a 78 on my TEAS exam. I was then accepted on 4/21 and have to reserve my seat by 4/29. During this time, I never received any of my letters. I live in an apartment complex where the mail boxes are in a common area. I have no idea what happened to my mail from Gordon. Anyway I called Gordon and had my letter of decision mailed to me again. I was accepted on the 21, had to reply by the 29th, and received the letter on the 5th of May. My seat was given to someone else and I have been put back on the wait list. Anyway the point I am trying to get at is I had a 2.8 but a 78 on the TEAS exam... which put me in the 89th percentile. So if anyone is having trouble getting in.. it is possible. Keep your head up, retake TEAS exam and get a better score, and even retake some classes if necessary. I am also a male... I have no idea if that makes a difference or not! Good luck!
Are you a current student at Gordon. Because I think we have similar scores and GPA. When I called the nursing dept the lady that answered wouldn't tell me anyting concerning my GPA. Would like to know but because I am not a current student she was very rude and not helpful. How could I find out my GPA without attending the school. Had a 77 on TEAS
