Hey,
Is there anyone here that was admitted for fall 2009 at Gordon College?
Emile,
I know what you mean when you say that the competition is fierce. It seems like so many people are wanting to get into nursing. I don't want to be limited in my scope of practice either, but I know that respiratory therapists work in the ICU, which is where I would like to go. At least then when I decide to switch over to nursing, I will already have some ICU exposure and it may possibly make it easier for me to get a critical care position as an RN.

Lol! Yes that lady was mean. My husband was trying to get me to snap on her for being rude, but that would just be counterproductive. She didn't deter me from applying. I just hope that she is not an instructor or someone that we would have to deal with all of the time. I don't know how long I could hold my tongue. Phrozenone, we have a lot in common. It's funny!
I am glad to hear that the program is going so smoothly. It gives me hope and confidence that all of the stressing out will be worth it in the end.
The NET reading portion was horrible for me. I like to take my time and read everything to rationalize my answers, but you didn't even have enough time to read all of the passages. The math for the NET was a piece of cake because I studied the study book and the questions were just like that. If the TEAS math is the same or easier then I should be in good shape. I am trying to see if I can scrounge up an ATI TEAS study book, but with me taking the test on Thursday, I know that I will not have enough time to order it online. Thank you guys for your reassurance. It means a lot. Happy studying!
