Hey,
Is there anyone here that was admitted for fall 2009 at Gordon College?

Omg, we've been having the same issues. They told me that I had to send in a final transcript in order to be accepted. So I had to withdraw from my current school in order to gain acceptance. I just called the nursing department today to get them to send me an application for the program.
Oh and I think you send transcripts in to the nursing department with your application.

Do the transcripts need to be official or can they be unofficial? Does the school have to send them to the nursing department or can they send them directly to me and then I'll forward them to the nursing department. This is just a lot of running around. Argh!
Faith,
Were you able to schedule a TEAS testing date when they sent you an application?

hey,I can help out a little. :wink2: the transcripts have to be official. One set has to be sent to the nursing department and the other set has to be sent to admissions. You schedule your TEAS test date when you turn in the application.
Thank you. Yeah more money to spend on transcripts!! I am ready to get in already!:wink2:
all in all...the application process is pretty smooth...at least it was for me, so don't worry, just go on the website and print off the checklist and go by that.

Does anyone know if Gordon's nursing program admit base on transfer or institutional GPA or do they average the two GPAs?

I believe it is your Core GPA.
Can anyone tell me how many semester hours are required to complete the Associate of Science degree in Nursing at Gordon College. I am trying to figure out how many classes I need to apply to the approved electives section of the core curriculum. Thanks in advance. :wink2:
Sorry it took so long to reply, but they sent me a preassigned time and date for the teas with the application packet. Also, it states that the app is due on Friday Sept 4,2009 by 5:00pm instead of Sept. 7 because it falls on a holiday.
What information do you have to put in the nursing application? Can it be filled out at the nursing department, or is it something that needs to be taken home? Thanks.
