Hi,

Anyone else trying to get into the FAll '19 semester?

I'm taking TEAS this Saturday.

Good luck to everyone!

Hey guys!! Do you know if it’s required to join NSNA or GCSNA??

Also so has anyone tried logging into castlebranch yet?

We have to join both of them from what I understand. NSNA we join on our own and we are required to bring $25 to orientation for GCSNA. I have also tried to log into Castlebranch with no luck. I get an error message every time.

Is anyone else having a hard time getting their email to go through to Nicole Rychling about the CPR class? Goodwin kicked it back to me saying there was a system error, I'm going to try again on my work email.

hey!! I got it through with gmail instead! But you have to go to room 309 cause they don’t take reservations through email anyways!

Did they give you any information on the price and the dates? Thanks.

There are 4 dates (I dont remember all the dates but I think they all fall on a Friday) available on a first come first serve basis. Classes are one day and cost $80.

Thanks! I’ll take them locally then. I live an hour away from Goodwin.

Idk if anyone is near my side of the state, I just signed up with Willimantic Code One for $60. I'm just going to do it this Saturday and get it over with. You can find them through the AHA website.

Good Morning – We have one-day CPR classes scheduled for June 28th, July 12th, July 19th and July 26th. The class is $80. All of our CPR classes this semester will be held on Fridays from 9AM-12PM. If you are interested in signing up for a class please come to my office in room 309 at the main campus for the paperwork. Unfortunately it is not possible to sign up via email.

My office hours for CPR are 8:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Thursday and 8:00AM-1:30PM on Friday. Please note, once you receive paperwork from my office you will need to pay for the course in the bookstore.

Anyone know if we can pay the deposit with a credit card? I will be running out of financial aid soon and I think the program is like $40,000. I need to save every penny that I can! Trying to prepare myself. Anyone in the same boat? What’s your plan? I’m super nervous about it. I’m hoping I can get some scholarships but I know they aren’t a secure form of method. Thanks!

You can pay the deposit online with a credit card! You have to go into Fall 18/19 and press make payment. It takes you to PayPal, so you can use PayPal or enter in a credit card. Just make sure to call the business office and let them know it’s for the nursing deposit. I am also running out of financial aid (after the Nursing 100 I’m on my own) and I met with nursing financial aid and she gave me a break down of what I would owe each semester. My plan is to get scholarships, pay out of pocket, and get a loan. I have no other choice ?

Thanks for your quick response! Ugh it sucks but we got this! Ok thanks. I’m glad I can use a credit card. I might have to max out all of our cards for the program or get a loan too. I also hope to keep my gpa high so I can get scholarships. I think I’ll be on my own after one and a half semesters. And I guess whatever I get from my per diem job. But girl we got this! We will do what we have to do!

I had to put the deposit on a credit card too. I keep trying to tell myself it will be worth it in the end, but it sure is giving me serious anxiety.
