Were you able to get ahold of anyone? I'm so tired of waiting, yet everyone says since my application isn't closed, still under review, I will probably hear from them. I really want to work for Yale! I need a job though asap.

I think I also remember (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), but not too sure. I know she said she was talent acquisition at Yale and she was young. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) is an older lady. Let me know what they say. I think I might email them too.

I know this thread is a year old, but did anyone who's application was under review get a call from the residencies? I applied to an OR one about a month and a half ago at Yale NH, and an ED one at Bridgeport 2 weeks and they both say under review. What are the chances? I haven't applied to any other hospital because I would love to work for Yale. However, I've read its quite hard to get in, especially if you don't have a BSN. Thanks!

Did you hear back from her? I'm nervous about emailing. I attended a virtual career fair and Ann talked. I wish I would have sent a thank you letter! Ugh! It would have been perfect when following up on a position. I read job positions tend to stay "under review" when you aren't eventually chosen.

Please update us if you do reach out. I applied to their OR residency a last month along with the ED one at Bridgeport Hospital, and they are under review too. I applied to other positions there and I have been rejected. So I'm holding some hope, but I'm getting desperate!

Hi Mike, I've been browsing some of the olde topics and wanted to know how you are liking working at Bridgeport Hospital in the ED. I applied to the Summer residency and I am praying they call me. My application has been under review for like 2 weeks now so I'm not sure what to think. But either way how do you like working there? Even if I don't get accepted, maybe I can apply in the future after I do my med surg time. LOL Thanks

I applied to 2 residencies and a new grad job at Yale New Haven and Bridgeport. All 3 say "under review". Should I apply elsewhere? I applied to two other positions at Yale too and those were reviewed and rejected. I received an email for both saying they went with other candidates. So I'm wondering if I still have a chance for those that say "under review". Being that they are Magnet status I hear it's hard to get in with a ADN. Thanks!

Hi! I would say at least 17. 16 can get you in, but you don’t know how many points is the minimum. It can be different each time. So I would say high GPA and at least 17 points! Best wishes!

I would totally call. Did you already submit them? Or are you still waiting for results? If you submitted them, I think you should be ok. Mine physical stuff was missing the exact TDap vaccine I took so I had to get another paper stating the type. I hope they accept it. But if your paper was completely filled out, I’m sure it’s ok. Knowing me I’d still call to ask. Lol

Anyone still have items pending in castle ranch? I took a cpr class on the 20th and it’s still pending! I’m nervous because I didn’t know they would send an ecard within 30 days. So they gave a letter of completion. And another one I needed to be more specific on the vaccine. I’m nervous!

You’re welcome! Yes it is! The nursing advisor said we should be fine. It is required but we can wait until September because we need it before clinical starts. I got it but the doctor left it blank and the paper I have doesn’t state the LOT number.
