Yeah, I won't stress out too much without a letter in hand. I don't live in the same county as the school is in, so there's no telling when I'll get it.

(I hope today, at least tomorrow.) :lol2:

I thought the letters were supposed to be mailed on the 15th? Doesn't that mean you won't get it until Monday or Tuesday?

Here's to hoping there were mailed out early because of the holiday! :)

For Spring '06, the acceptance letters arrived ON the mail-out day. So, I'm hoping mine's an acceptance letter & that I get it tomorrow. (Preferably today because of the campus being closed today.)

For Spring '06, mine was a denial and I received it on Tuesday after the mail-out day.

I thought the letters were supposed to be mailed on the 15th? Doesn't that mean you won't get it until Monday or Tuesday?

Ahhh, I see. If you don't get a letter today or tomorrow, don't be too upset. It sounds like they mailed them early last year. Just to save you from waiting, I hope they mail them early this year, too! Oh, the torture!

No, I haven't worked up the nerve to call them. I have third party information (a fellow student talked to a nursing student who talked to the director of the nursing program) that they are behind schedule this year and we may not hear anything til late April or early May.

I'm afraid that if I call they'll ask my name and then decide that I am a pain in the hiney for bothering them...

I'm still chugging on at NLC taking Sociology this semester. I am doing pretty well still on the 4.0 track. Anyways, I am going to take this summer off. My husband is going to be laid off in the middle of May so I am going to back to the workplace (yeah) for the summer....he should get called back by the time school starts in August.

The letters came today!!!!!!

Come June 1st, it will have been fifteen years since I graduated from high school. I went straight into college in pursuit of my nursing degree, but never got to the point of applying.

15 years after I graduated from high school, I finally have an acceptance letter into the nursing program!

I will start at North Lake College in the Fall '06 program! :balloons: :balloons:

Please, no one give up!!!!!!
