Make sure you eat, but don't eat too much. Don't eat greasy unhealthy snack foods either, eat some good protein that's going to hold you over without bloating you up.
I ate an orange, small cup of coffee, half a bottle of water, and a protein bar before mine.
PS- If you're like me, you'll want to avoid high fiber bars before the test, an hour after I eat one of those my farts could power a windmill.
I had 2 scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, a cup of coffee, and a cup of orange juice. I also packed a bottle of water and a banana. I knew I needed glucose for my brain, but not too much that I would be jittery. You can access food/drink during breaks. Your belongings will be kept in a locker. I finished my exam in about an hour, so I didn't take a break.
I took all the snacks I said I was going to, ate lightly before going in, took my break at the 2 hr mark (and had a few bites and some water) and then the computer shut off at 75! I was freaking as I felt there was no way I could've passed it. Came home and got the good pop-up on PearsonVue!! Yay!!! I'm relieved but will be more-so when I see my name and license number on my state's board!!! Definitely recommend all the advice of what to eat I got here! :)

I'm taking my NCLEX this afternoon. Please share good brain food ideas! My nerves say eat nothing but I know better! I'm taking a snack bag in case I'm there for the duration-almonds, apple slices, grapes, cheese cubes, fruit breakfast bars and a few small bottles of water. Any other suggestions? When to eat? Can you eat on breaks? Quick snacky-type foods was my thought but I've never done this before so...
