Good Pop-Up but still Failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello,

I took the NCLEX and got the "good pop-up" via the PVT. Honestly, I don't feel like I did well at all on the exam. My exam was cut off after 75 questions. I had at least 15 SATA questions, and 4 or 5 drop/order questions. I honestly thought I was failing the whole time. Has anyone got the "good pop-up" and still failed? I am stressing out.........

Lol, I'm done.. I'm just glad u said I'm not the first to post this. My classmates had a smaller box that said to contact the bon

Probably one of the greater annoyances, when people try to make a 'trick' into 'absolute', is finding that there are a variety of wordings for the same thing.

Hang in there.

Me, I'm going home now :)

Lol, ok!! Have a good holiday! Gonna b a long one for me..

I suspect the PVT is simply a part of the billing system that checks results, and quite likely the 1st results at that. I suspect that the false results either way are a result of a marginal exam being scored the other way at the 2nd scoring. Furthermore, I suspect this is a relatively rare event and accordingly, the PVT being wrong is a rare event too.

In other words, if you did the PVT, got an "answer" that later went the other way, you were likely so close to passing that you needed that 2nd scoring to determine if you really did pass or fail.

Passed and grateful! Thanks

How many questions did you get when you took it and it gave you a false positive? I am freaking out.. Basically questioning that my questions were too easy.. I got the harder ones in the beginning... And it shut off at 75. I got the "good" pop up but am convinced I failed. I'm a year and a half out of school.. Lazily took the Kaplan self paced course and scored between 50-58% on the q trainers. I got a 69% on my "readiness" test. I saw a few things supporting this risk of this happening is greater (though still rare) the farther from 75 questions the test taker is, has this happened to anyone with a good pop up, 75 questions?

I passed! I got my letter from the Bon before I even got quick results! My test was Saturday at 8 am and my email came at 12:15 Monday! My easy ones at the end were two apart asking to basically pick the definition of personality disorders. I had a lot on infectious disease and precaution which scared me. I didn't know if you could do so miserable in psych or infection control in the beginning that there was no recovery! But I guess I didn't do so horrible!

Passed! Sorry I should have replied so you knew I was talking to you! í ½í¸„ Good luck! I am guessing you passed too! I had one about justice toward the end!
