they dont require anymore to get Overall band score of 7 in the singlle setting of IELTS test.
Good news for IELTS takers but NZ is bad news for "2nd coursers/shiftees" since the NCNZ now requires applicants to be a graduate of a 4 year purely BSN degree.
what exam does nz requires? can anyone plese post all the requirements needed? as their site only give the application form.........
In general no exam is require, English exam is required and the board of nursing will make their own assessment on your training and transcripts plus any experience you have and will decide if you need to complete any type of bridging program
where to apply?i took and past the ielts last march 10, 2007 is still valid?
BTW here are my scores
Listening 7.0
Reading 8.0
Writing: 6.0
Speaking: 7.0
Overall: 7.0
with this scores am i qualified for the ielts?
you can not use that IELTS exam since you have a score of 6.0 in writing ... Based on the new rule of NCNZ IF you take a second IELTS before MARCH 10, 2008 and you got a 7.0 in writing (irregardless of the score for other areas) then you can use both exams for the IELTS requirement.(both exam should be taken in a span of 12 months)
only thing to do now is to retake the IELTS and aim for band 7.0 in all areas. goodluck
how do one apply a job in new zealand. do they require a hospital experience. i just had my ielts exam last oct 2007 and i got 7 in writing, reading and listen but i just got 6.5 in my speaking. So i repeated my ilets last april and i got all 7 in reading, listening and speaking expect writing. do i qualify?
