Hi all,I understand the basics of sepsis (hyperdynamic, cool sepsis, warm sepsis, capillary leakage, etc) but I have yet to find a really good comprehensive description. I have the Marino book and others recommended on this site but they just haven't cliqued it all in for me.... Anybody got any recommendations for books?
Check out the Eli Lily (sp?) website...they're the sole producers of xigris and really push this product hard. Because of this, they have very good information regarding severe sepsis and all of it's nuances. If you're unable to find this info on the lily site, check for xigris sites...I think you'll be very impressed with the wealth of info on sepsis that they provide.

Thank you! Is that sepsis.com? My only issue with pharmaceutical websites is that I'm afraid that they will frame the pathophys with a bias to favor the mechanism of their drug... but I'll definitely take a look. Thanks for taking the time to answer my post!
