That depends.....did you take anatomy in high school? If so, and you are already familiar with anatomy, you have an advantage and can probably handle them both at the same time.
On the other hand, how much of the prereq courses do you want to retain? Both courses lay a foundation for nursing and if you want to have a good, solid foundation, I would suggest taking one science course at a time in order to retain the material and giving you a better chance at excelling in the nursing program.
Good luck!
Hmmm...as some posters mentioned it is doable. Just make sure you become efficient with time management in order to successfully study for both classes. I am currently finishing up my semester having taken both while, might I add, starting a brand new job at a hospital. I did well in both courses. Taking them together will hopefully allow you to gain better understanding of how and why diseases occur in certain systems; moreover, you will better understand what is going on within the body as a whole in order to gauge a proper treatment.
I am finishing up taking both APII and Micro this semester, and working full time about 50 hours/week. It was no cake walk, I can tell you that. If you are very good with your time, it can be done. I got an A- in APII and have my Micro final tomorrow evening...I expect an A- as well if all goes well. "Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do" comes to mind.....and this was what my particular situation required. Good luck to you!

Hi, I am signing up for fall semester and I want to take micro and anatomy together. Is there anyone who took them at the same time and if you have how did you like it? Also would you recommend it?
Thank you
